I’m often asked how decisions are shaped within The Wild Mane Project.
Many of those decisions come from my own personal experience. Family experience, living with a long-term chronic illness, supporting children with EBSA and SEND, and understanding how nature and horses can help people find their footing again.
Those experiences helped shape Wild Mane, and I believe other voices should help shape it too.
One of the ways we do that is through something called Wild Voices.
Wild Voices is simply a space where young people and adults can help influence the direction of the project. It brings together different perspectives and lived experiences, particularly around access, SEND, disability, and inclusion.
Some people share ideas. Some help shape activities. Others simply offer a perspective that helps us think about things differently.
I’m always open to hearing from people who would like to be part of that conversation as the project grows.
Wild Voices is one of the ways The Wild Mane Project continues to listen, learn, and evolve alongside the community around it.
