Sponsor a Wild Mane Pony
Our ponies live out 24/7 in a herd with friends, forage, and freedom at Dane Bank. By sponsoring one today, you help care for them.
At The Wild Mane Project, our herd lives out 24/7 on the Dane Bank horses field in Denton. They provide a calm, pressure-free space where local people can step away from daily stress, slow down, and simply enjoy being around horses in a green environment. Keeping a herd healthy, fed, and safe in an outdoor lifestyle takes a community effort.

When you sponsor a pony, your support goes directly toward their hay, farrier visits, and outdoor welfare, ensuring they can continue to welcome visitors to the fields.

Meet Our Herd

Skyla
Skyla is our beautiful roan mare and the eldest of the herd. Gentle and calm, she loves brushes and attention and will sometimes give people a little smile while being groomed.

Monty
Monty is the strength of The Wild Mane Project with a big heart. Friendly and full of character, everything he knows he has learnt alongside us. As our longest-standing herd member, Monty has been part of our family since 2018.

Esmeray
Esmeray is our chestnut flaxen mare with a lovable nature and endless curiosity. She is usually the first to rush over to greet us and would happily follow people around the field all day long.

Teddy
Teddy may be 17, but he certainly does not act it. A favourite with many of the children, they love brushing his bushy mane. His cheeky personality and tiny size mean he somehow always manages to sneak himself into places he should not be.
