One-to-One Support Sessions
Wild Mane 1:1 Support Sessions are private individual outdoor sessions for children, young people, and adults who may need a more personalised pace, quieter environment, or additional support before joining group activities.
Some people access 1:1 sessions because they find larger groups overwhelming, struggle with confidence, need time to build familiarity, or simply engage better through individual support. Others may use sessions as a gradual stepping stone into smaller groups, clubs, workshops, or educational programmes.
These sessions can suit a wide range of people, including those with SEND, anxiety, school attendance difficulties, neurodivergence, additional support needs, or those who simply engage better through quieter individual sessions and practical outdoor learning.
Sessions are shaped around the individual and built through practical outdoor activities, pony interactions, movement, nature-based tasks, and shared experiences rather than formal sit-down approaches.
Activities may include:
-
Pony care and groundwork
-
Nature-based activities
-
Practical outdoor tasks
-
Bushcraft and woodland skills
-
Outdoor exploration
-
Confidence-building activities
-
Guided reflective activities where appropriate

Separate sessions are available for:
-
Children
-
Young People
-
Adults

Some participants later move into smaller groups, clubs, workshops, or educational programmes, while others prefer to remain in individual sessions.
